Serve her papers and cut off contact. Don't block her so you can keep any evidence of her reaching out. If she threatens suicide, especially by text or voicemail, contact the police and have them do checks on her.
You've done everything you can. Ultimately if she decides to end her life, it's not because of you. She is an adult and would have made that decision herself. You can offer her support by contacting some therapists, but remember that you are not a paid professional responsible for her decisions.
Yes. Can’t hurt. And doesn’t come off as needy or anything. I had a similar situation, but I let it go. Then about a month later I went on a 1st date with a man who has the same first name. I sent the other guy ( the wrong one !) a note letting him know that lunch was nice but “I’m not feeling it” and wished him well. Well – I got a response that was hilarious and embarrassing at the same time. We ended up speaking on the phone that day. Now 18 months later he is my SO. Good luck!
