I don't think people are bad for wanting hookups or that only married guys do that kind of thing. I never said that once on here or in real life. He is free to online his life how he wants and if he never contacts me again as long as no one in his life is being cheated on i could careless.
Where I live! dating isn't “being in a relationship” it's literally just going out with someone romantically with no labels so maybe there was some confusion there also.

This is a complicated situation. You've clearly hurt her (and embarrassed her in front of her friends), but you weren't exactly wrong when you told her that she's cutting your disagreements short when she cries and gives both of you little chance of actually resolving them. None of that is healthy in a long-term relationship.
Now, calling her “manipulative” was clearly a mistake. I don't know your wife, so I don't know whether or not she is (she could very well be), but at a minimum, she's using it without realizing it. And, yeah, I mean, it kinda worked for a long time. That doesn't mean that her emotional turmoil isn't real.
So, yeah, lots of stuff to talk through and lots of trust to rebuild. I suggest professional help.

I'd get myself tested for Std's just in case. If he's been a phone junkie for the past 6 months or more he's probably been cheating on you for longer than you think.
First off let me say that I completely understand the insecurity that could set it in when hearing your SO say “I love you” to one of their past SO’s.
However. I have an old BF who is now just a really good friend-we’ve been there, done that, the tee-shirt didn’t fit and I realized it wasn’t my style anyway. We say “I love you” to each other all the time, but I have zero (ZERO!) romantic feelings anymore.
Basically, “I love you” could be significant, but it could also mean nothing at all. Only time will tell. Try not to rush to judgement, and give her the benefit of the doubt-for now. If you notice any further “weird” vibes, have a conversation.

You lucky you ain’t married. Start building your case and break the news to her in front of witnesses. You can find a way to coparent. If you’re not happy it will only get worse. You won’t wake up one day and be like “I’m happy now” lol and staying for the kids is a poor excuse. You do more damage putting them in a situation where they grow up seeing their parents fight and argue and not be happy.
Trust me, it took a whole year and a whole lotta therapy bills but I came to terms with it. I don't think there was anything between them for the first 4 years of our relationship. She helped him plan a birthday party for me. She pushed him to be a better boyfriend and gave him advice when we had a fight. They were friends. If he was into her, he kept it well hidden. Last year, I can't really say but at that point our relationship was already on borrowed time. I should have ended things and moved on with my life. I also don't blame her, he is this extremely attractive man who can be very charming and persuasive when he wants something or someone. I had *friends* make a pass at him when we were together so that I understand.
