1. Yes I've not played the game since. My boyfriend is taking time off this week and just playing games. Next week he wants to start working again and watch me play the game while he works (he always watches something while he works). If I play alone I can limit myself to two hours per day which I can afford time-wise.

You will never feel good about yourself as long as you are with him because he will cheat physically sooner or later and you can’t be surprise because he’s showing you who he is.    You were very inconsiderate to allow any fantasizing about your boyfriend’s friend. That could have negative real world effects on their relationship. Is it cheating? It is to your boyfriend, but would it be to you if he did this with your friend? Rules about cheating are mutual.

   Don’t torment yourself about this, just take it as growing up. If he wants to break up, that’s his right. You are NOT some horrible villain here, you just were genuinely ignorant about common values. Do not let him stay with you but constantly torture you for this.

   How did he find out about all of this? Did he demand for you to open up and then freak out? Did the friend tell him? This is a lesson, but the lesson is “I’m learning how to be a committed partner”. Everyone has to learn some time.
