Women have literally been stalked and killed for turning men down. I've been harassed, cajoled, and basically had my “no” ignored, even if I have said I'm in a relationship. Men truly don't want to hear “no” from a woman, and we do whatever we can to simply avoid the consequences of it when men put us in that position.
I've done the same thing and never called the man because in the moment, I really didn't want to have to deal with the potential problems that come with rejecting them. Easier and safer for me in the end.
I think you’re overreacting for a one month relationship. He very well might have a crush on her, but he’s with you. It’s probably in the past he asked her out and she said no thank you. It’s can go one of two ways: 1) He loves her and leaves you 2) you continue to blossom into a wonderful relationship
Don’t let your insecurities destroy your relationship because you think he is head over heels for someone. Let the relationship see where it goes. He is with you after all.
