I actually have my first counseling appointment on Monday and your comment inspired me to add this struggle to say no to my list of things I’d like to talk about and work on. You are right in that he does know I struggle with it because I’ve told him that I do. He has tried to come off as supportive when I discuss issues I have, but in turn, he really is using the issues to his advantage.
