Reminds me of the guy who posted that he loves his life; he works part time, is happy with a bike for transport, and likes his girlfriend a lot. Girlfriend wants a plan for the future that includes home ownership but he’s a happy renter and does not want to sacrifice his lifestyle for her dream. While this simply proves they are not compatible (neither are wrong to prefer a different lifestyle) his question is how can he manage the situation in such a way that girlfriend is happy with his current lifestyle without leaving him. He offers no compromise except for her to compromise her dream. In truth, there is no compromise either can make that is fair to the other.
