As a person completely removed and uninvolved in this situation I found it exhausting. Is this dude really worth all the drama and baggage, especially after only 3 months? Him hiding you is a bad sign. He shouldn't be dating anyone if he's still so entangled with his ex.
I should've realized who he was when he would continuously call everyone in his family names. They don't even do it back. He set up the beginning of our relationship with this story that nobody loved him and he was an unwanted child, just to find out that he's the most spoiled of the 3. They love that I'm around because I shut that down immediately. He could ask for money and they'd empty their pockets for him. Idk if he truly thinks he's a victim or if he just dangles things over everyone's head so he can keep playing victim. He has a reason for everything and it's never his fault. Three sentences into the post you should have realized they aren't in a good place. The husband asking his wife to sleep with other guys? He probably is desperate to get her to find something that turns her on sexually. He's probably been trying to leave the relationship over their poor sex life.
The wife offering to let him get a girlfriend reeks of her trying to keep him around out of desperation and I would guess hoping that there would be no interest in him from other women.
The changing her mind? That was her trying to restore status quo after having her bluff called.
She doesn't want to go back to a healthy place, she wants to get back on the ledge, she's probably desperate to stay with him.
Honestly the entire situation sounds like a complete and unhealthy mess. You labeling him a cheater seems like the least of their problems
