I feel terribly sorry for him right now. For your 2nd paragraph – I know this is sometimes the case. I'm not sure why I was overreacting so hard; actually I thought I'm over the betrayal of my ex. Thank you for your comment, I really need to work this out.
No it isn't evil, wanting biological children is natural and infertility is absolutely a potential marriage killer. But you need to think about what the rest of your life may look like. Even if you met the mother of your children and knocked her up tomorrow, you would still be 53 when that child graduates high school. Realistically, that won't happen. Let's say you leave your wife and it is emotionally tumultuous for you, so it takes 2 years to get to a point where you want to date again. You spend 2 years with that person and realize they aren't the one, you break up. A year later, you meet the love of your life. You date for 3 years and propose, and you marry a year later. You try to have kids, but surprise, you're having trouble as most people in their late 30s and early 40s. It takes you guys 4 years to conceive, baby is born on your 5th wedding anniversary. When that child is 18, you'll be 66.
That is a hell of a gamble that may not pay off.
