That’s said I know heaps of 40+yo women dating men in their late 20s, so if OP can hang on a few more years he could successfully date older.
Most of the women that are dating younger I know already have kids. So they’re not looking for a potential co-parent, plus they are pretty busy with kids and careers.

I think the sentiment here is to be aware of possible consequences to your actions before taking them. If you can’t accept the risk of pregnancy, you shouldn’t have sex. If you can’t accept the risk of a car accident, don’t drive. I think both things are reasonable and worth the risk, so I do both. But we all have to make our own risk assessments.

My concern is if he decides to cover his tracks with another person like yourself that he would be putting in danger. That would be something that you could tell him. That you found out he was lying and putting you at danger of disease and was lied to.
Then choose what to do after that, depending on his actions. That you are not interested in him and his actions. Don't argue about it, or discuss it, or anything, just tell him the facts and make your own choices.
