When you posted roughly 4 hours ago that you'd been alone the whole day so far, how much of the day had gone by in your time zone? Like, did he totally blow off your movie plans or did he just go over there for brunch? I don't think he's obliged to spend the whole day with you if you hadn't discussed it previously, but he shouldn't have taken off unexpectedly or without giving you an idea of when he'd next see you.
