No she wouldn't because she would have to deal with custody arrangements. She wouldn't be able to tell him to cut his dad off if his dad has custody rights over him. She waited for him to become adult to finally bring out the ultimatum.
I would agree if the mom did it right after the divorce. That’s what spiteful people do but she waited until the op became an adult and could make there own decisions.
Thanks for your thoughtful input. He was an old friend that I interacted with on social media occasionally since last year but we recently met up a few times to get to know each other better. He's the one who suggested we should go on a vacation at a place he chose and told me that I am a good planner. I have been the one deciding where to go and he just agrees with it and says it's good.
yeah this doesn't sound like a compatible relationship. If he doesn't respect your need to get away from everything and everyone, including him and his daughter, then he needs to move on.
To me it sounds like once he found out you weren’t a virgin, you were not suitable as a serious partner and just good for sex. Once that happened, he bounced.
I wouldn’t remain friends with him and I’m sorry this has happened. There are better men out there

Maybe because she's monogamous and doesn't want her husband to be romantically involved with other women??? Why is that a crazy concept

It is a sign of dominance.
