   Personally I'm not buying his “real reason,” but either way I'm glad you did something fun for yourself. Don't tolerate any bullying from this guy about it. Also, welcome to the tattoo club! I'd been wanting one for years but I'm too indecisive about designs to ever settle on anything, so my wife (who has several) picked out something she'd been wanting and suggested we get matching ones, so that saved me from my indecisiveness. I like it! Pretty cool to walk past the mirror and see it, took a while for me to stop doing a double take every time. Plus I like that we've got a shared one.

3. My period in high school was super irregular (I developed late so not surprising it was more sporadic during the initial period phase) and I always knew it was coming bc my school had that “buy a candy bar for $1” boxes they had people in clubs bring around to raise money…I would always get a second one.

   OP really needs to talk to his gf though, I know it may come as a shock to him but we are not all built the same.
