There are people who don't travel. It's psychological. Your parents can love you, want to see you, and yet never come. You can suggest therapy. I doubt they will take your suggestion. I have friends with parents like this. I suggest facetiming, calling and texting. The technology is there, use it.
That's weird because you didn't care that you were engaged and went along with the guy…did you take advantage of it? Or is your fiancé dumb enough to make excuses for you?
Here are the questions I’d ask myself 1. If I stay in LA to stay with partner and he never agrees to leave, how likely is it that I’ll end up resenting my partner/our relationship at some point? 2. By staying in LA and forgoing my own happiness, am I showing up as my best and most authentic self in this relationship right now, and if not is that fair to either of us?
