I’ve tried to talk to them, even with my bf as the mediator and proofreader of my notes. No matter how revised and soft my delivery is they took offense, so they just decided to stop talking to me and leave me on read. So, with my bf being their friend of 8+yrs until now, he’s my only way of communicating with them. He does a ton and he goes above and beyond for all the other bf categories, sometimes without being asked. I agree it's not cheating and her changing her number is irrational. However, her handling of the situation is clearly an issue. From the sound of it her friend was not initially saying give out your number this seemed to escalate after repeated interactions at the bar. That is the problem. This wasnt a 1 and done interaction but multiple interactions per the girlfriend telling OP. Does this show the girlfriend wants to cheat no but it shows that her choice of friend is an issue if thats her response.
