  1. Hello /u/Main-Suggestion-7871,

Your post was removed for the following reason(s):

Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly

    Posts must:

include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and

request advice in real situations involving two or more people

We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles use the following formatting:

[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two. Here is an example:

[34NB][88-F] We are two people in an example post

Please resubmit with a corrected title.

  2. Listen, exit that relationship. He's not even remorseful just throwing a tantrum trying to guilt you into forgiving him, I guess. Don't waste your time with the mental gymnastics. He has yet to face you like a man. Boy bye!

  3. I’m not being snarky but honestly asking about why you are blaming him for not taking chores on when he lives there too but not questioning why she shouldn’t take on some living costs like rent when she lives there? Yes he lives there, he should have some chores but she lives there too so should pay some rent. Why does she get to be financially free from all obligations but when the roles are reversed, he is supposed to support her but also take on household duties?

  4. Plus it’s reversible

Stop spreading this idea. It is performed as sterilization, under the assumption that this will NOT be reversible. The fact that you can try to have it reversed and see if that works out isn't the same.

    Stop.

  5. If it helps any: I had a 7.5-year relationship, and we were engaged. He broke up with me. And then he couldn't cope and cut contact completely. The thing I miss, even 20 years later, is the friendship I thought we'd shared. It's okay to miss what you had- but please do recognize that the relationship you had with him was built on lies. His lies. He is not the man you thought he was. And if you're anything like me – the man you thought he was – was at least partly your projection of who he presented to you as. The man you thought he was was an illusion. Built of his lies and your desires.

It's not your fault for being deceived – that's on him. But it is your fault if you continue to pour emergency into the illusion. No one is going to measure up to the illusion you created in your head. But that person that good guy you were so close to? Sadly, he was not real. And you deserve someone real.

  6. What did his body language say? Was he giving enthusiastic consent? We are told that’s the threshold these days
