I'm told I was a terror at that age. Focusing on noise isn't even touching on stuff like kids getting into paints, hand creams, nail polishes, “washing” the dog with dish soap, failing at trying to put food together, etc. All that and more can easily happen in the time it takes for a chess match lol.

I think most folks would not be ok with this. I don’t think putting a title on the relationship will change things either. She isn’t going to change. Do you think she’ll turn down future opportunities to take trips with this “friend” or other “friends?” She’s old enough to know the complications of doing something like this. I’d say get him a good alcohol free mouth wash. Better breath and shouldn’t aggravate his gums as much as brushing would. My fiancé also had dirty hands all the time until I explained all the infections we women can get down there due to that. He always washes his hands now. For the feet, take him for a pedicure once in a while. He might actually like it (I’ve found most men do).
