Is it even legal in Canada to borrow money for a deposit? It’s not in the UK. Here if you aren’t funding the entire deposit yourself you usually have to get confirmation that the ‘loan’ is a gift. If it’s the same in Canada you’d have to lie to the mortgage co or your future BIL is giving you a $150k gift!

Well I guess I’m asking how should I move on/continue with her because she’s literally acting as if it’s the end of the world for her if this fcker is sussing her our and it’s out of my control but I think she feels like I have some kind of hand in it because the way I see it is I took a calculated risk knowing that this kid was on the brink of jail/looney bin/ and or death had he been fed one more drip or something negative because of his state of being and all she seems to care about is that I didn’t tell her the truth right away but she doesn’t know him like I do, and I felt that I made a decision that protected him from himself and I want her to see that ??♀️ but she refuses to understand that lart otherwise I would never under any circumstances NOT tell my bsf what’s up but it’s like now she doesn’t trust me but it’s so dumb because she was literally going on dates at the same time so their behavior is just very childish in general and very annoying.
