6. I appreciate that. But in all honesty (even though it is her dad), she resents her dad, long story short. And my dad was a sweetheart. We both can attest to this. And I had that mindset too that everyone moment with my parents could be the last. So I didn’t have any guilt at the time that he was gone. It was the fact that I went through all of the grieving and being there for my family. And having to talk to so. Many. People. And I just wanted to be with her. And she could have just rescheduled the fucking trip man. And that’s what eats me up. I was fine with it at the time, but in hindsight it did more damage than I had expected.
