I would hire a house cleaner to come in once a week or bi weekly and split the bills 50/50. He isn't your child that you have to take care of. OP that’s is heavier than us strangers can help you carry. One of the best things I ever did for myself was see a therapist after a very close friend died. We used to ride motorcycles together. We were riding just days before he died. I was the one his wife would joke about and say “if quasi-psuedo does something stupid you don’t have to follow him”. He literally showed me the text and we laughed just days before he was gone. I had massive survivors guilt and had no idea how to handle it. My therapist helped me figure out how. I’m terribly sorry you are faced with this challenge. Grief is strange, my friend. Pulling for you.
