Hello /u/OsageBrownBetty,
Your post was removed for the following reason(s):
Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly
Posts must:
include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and
request advice in real situations involving two or more people
We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles start with ages/genders in the following format:
[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two at the beginning of your title. Here is an example:
[34NB][88-F] We are two people in an example post
Please resubmit with a corrected title.

Have the life you deserve as well
Whatever that looks like is up to you
The predator lied about having children who are likely your age to try to keep his barely legal arm candy?
Wow, I'm shocked. /S
Just get a C table for over the couch. Then he can still put his drinks in the same place and you wont sit on them. Problem solved.
Toxic masculinity has a lot of victims. It's natural to cry, to have emotions. I hate how emotions have been assigned genders, it's ridiculous.
I was raised in a house where men did NOT cry, even the girls were not allowed, my dad would “give us something to cry about” if you catch my drift.
I never saw men cry, till my now husband. When we were just dating his cat died and that was the first time I saw a man cry, not on TV. It was jarring for me, I felt helpless and didn't know what to do, because I had never been in a situation like that before.
We've been together 20 years and I've seen him cry a few more times, and each time gets easier for me. It's the feeling of being helpless and not knowing what to do that causes me to freeze.
I'm not saying this is how your girlfriend feels but you owe it to yourself to ask her. Sit down and have an honest conversation and let her know that you've noticed some changes after she saw you cry and you want to talk about it.
OP, it's okay to cry, you are human and that is a very human emotion. It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable. I hate being vulnerable, I've been learning how to do it myself. It takes time, practice and a willingness to do it.
Thank you!
Ultimatums don’t work
They do. They let the victim know their partner will try to manipulate them into getting what they want.
Then the partner can walk. Lol
They dont stop. Once they become a dealer, they are a dealer even if they dont have drugs anymore. A few yrs from now, some old “customer” could come into your house, and demand his fix, with a gun point. Random knocks around the night, little “presents” left in your porch, the “boss” coming to pick up his moola. Scary scary.
You were a little mean for your actions…but she destroyed your family and you were a child. Honestly, I'd say your behavior was justified.
She's a grown adult acting like a child. Don't blame you one but for cutting the homewrecker out of your life.
Did she reply to that?
Honey, he cheated on you. I'm sorry.
