a LOT of people are outright telling her not to play fight. and even if there is a disparity- there are also people telling her she “fucked around and found out”, when that isn’t the point of the post. this is a relationship advice sub, not an i told you so sub. her course of action is to understand why this could affect her relationship. she felt like a moment of control and intimacy made her feel like she lost control- that’s something she does, in fact, need to have a conversation with her partner about. the differences between men and women is a really weird topic to hammer into when this is a relationship.
Your post was removed for the following reason(s):
Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly
Posts must:
include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and
request advice in real situations involving two or more people
We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles start with ages/genders in the following format:
[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two at the beginning of your title. Here is an example:
I mean I get those situations for sure, but that would be relevant info in favor of OP so it would make sense to include that. The absence of it leads me to believe it wasn't because she was hammered or something. There's a lot of missing into for me to really pop off on either person, but i think the ex is getting slammed here for being what appears to be (based on info provided) justifiably upset and people are glossing over OPs missteps because of his upset reaction.
100%. I would say that in my practice, a good 30% of divorces are due to financial issues, 50% are related to children (disagreements about parenting, one parent not doing their fair share of parenting and/or household chores), and the other 20% are a mish-mash.
is this satire
And how am I throwing away my self-respect? I don't quite understand that portion

I think you shouldn't be seeking out articles on how secretly common incest is. It might make folk wonder about you.
