2. It’s not okay, but unfortunately I don’t think it’s abnormal. Most women I know are making Christmas happen pretty much by themselves, myself included, and fill their own stockings (as parents with “Santa” image to keep up) or it doesn’t get done.

   Again, it’s not okay, but a lot of women (and probably some men, I’m absolutely sure) feel like they handle the holiday logistics themselves.

3. I want to give you a slight warning, my narcissistic ex husband would trauma dump on my family the first time he met them. And then would do it regularly after that.

   Not saying your partner is narcissistic, but be wary okay?

   You need to clearly and gently tell your partner not to trauma dump, just for the sheer fact he may not get to know those people or be in contact with them again and it could potentially trigger someone else and that’s entirely unfair.

   See what their reaction is to that and then proceed.
