Do you guys even eat dinner together? What about on the weekends? Do you ever play games with him? That's a solution that could satisfy both your desire to spend time with him and his desire to play video games. If that is not possible for whatever reason, then you need to start just planning things. Make dates like you would if you weren't living together, like outside of the house if you can. Best way to get your quality time with limited distractions.
