    I think you’re perfectly aware of your own concerns here so I won’t waste any time explaining to you, how you feel.

    To your girlfriend this particularly nasty fight appears to not be done. Otherwise she wouldn’t bring it up so often.

    I would consider the fact that experiencing a guy, especially their boyfriend/husband acting in any violent manner (screaming, insulting, physical violence) can be extremely unsettling to a woman.

    In future altercations she would by default be the (physically) weaker party. So it would only be healthy for her to gauge the field a bit. There’s a underlying (emotional) need that is not being met. Hence she even brings her friend into it.

    I wonder if she needs something to feel safe around you or within the relationship again?
