Husband gets to choose to not have her over. If she is choosing to blow up her life he doesn't have to be dragged through that.
Either sister gets her act together or she continues taking an axe to it and threatening suicide all the time, quickly becomes a method of controlling for certain people.
Having dealt with it in a friend who roomed for 18 months. The answer is just NO to their actions and your husband has every right to say it.
Pick a person and be done with it. Either you blow up your own life for your sister who won't even recognise, appreciate or get her life together. Or you choose your husband respect that he doesn't want that nightmare in his home and help her outside the home.
She won't learn until she hits rock bottom and even then she will probably plow right through to the other side. You can care all you want and he can rightly go I have had enough. She doesn't take her meds, doesn't attend therapy and such goes on random benders and blows up her life. That is all on her.
You sound very insecure, and I would recommend therapy to help you overcome that. Most men are attracted to most women. Just because someone has a preferred type doesn't mean they aren't ever attracted to someone else. If you're only hooking up, why do you care who this guy follows? If you want more than casual sex, tell him and ask him on a date.
I would tell him that if the share of bills is related to financial income then it's being redone 80/20 and then hire a cleaner with what you save.
Man that’s disgusting! WTF!? Take the journal with you when you look for a lawyer.
Little gifts are innocent. If the dude wipes out a ring after three dates, run lol and no clue what he might want to talk about though
The wife apparently agreed until she was pregnant. Now she doesn't and he's hoping it's just hormones – hormones lead people to do much more absurd things than talk to their racist parents.
It doesn't say anything about OP since she was on the same page until just recently, but it seems like a non-negotiable. I know if I were in the same situation, I'd do anything to protect my kids.
After you’re done wondering that, maybe ponder why the stereotypes exist in the first place.
He doesn't need to know. I'm sure there are people who disagree, but the fact is that if you want to terminate you should not be influenced by someone who doesn't have to carry a pregnancy to term or deal with any potential complications that may arise. And you shouldn't have to deal with the convincing if that's the route he goes.
Personally…if it were me I'd be so curious to see what he thought, I'd try to bring up abortion using a news article or something and see if he has any opinions. This might be a good way to decide whether it is worth it for you to bring up the real issue.
Also, good luck with whatever you choose. Whatever decision you make IS the right decision.
