Personally I would’ve waited just to see what was actually going on and if he was with her, but the thing is you felt something wasn’t right which can sometimes be all the proof you need. All of his lies where small lies but they were lies none the less and once you realized he’s been lying it’s only natural to have distrust in someone. With his lies around sex including his conversations with someone he’s had sex with I think it’s fair to have a fear of them doing something unfaithful, it’s hard to have faith in someone who doesn’t give you a reason.
