1. I've done that many times. And that's helped to some extent but other times he's just persisted. It extends to many things, like keep your phone screen off when you don't use it…don't put your phone screen face down because it's getting dirty, wear your mask properly, wear a jacket, the list is endless. I get that some of those are meant for good reasons, but in totality it feels like I'm just being constantly spoken to like I'm a child or that he's an authority figure.

4. It’s not worth it to try and convince him in my experience. Even if they dumped you they’re still gonna be upset about it. And it usually never changes. I get the whole doing it to forget, some people feel like that when they get broken up with. It’s probably better you didn’t do it because it could’ve made you feel worse in the end so at least that’s a good thing.

7. Well, first of all you can throw that 'micro' cheating euphemism right in the bin. He straight up cheated. It was a protracted flirting session that was clearly sexual and involved him doing her bra and checking out her breasts. They were both into it, there was no 'micro' to speak of.

   And yeah. He lied, trickle truthed, the reality of the situation.

   You say you know him so well but… well, clearly not as well as you hoped. And that ought to force you to reflect.
