Your daughter likes T. T likes your daughter and you trust him with her wellbeing. It's not like you are doing the old horizontal folk dancing in front of your kid so it's all good (although if she's not already realised you and T are 'special friends' then she's going to eventually).
Your sister likely has more of a problem with the idea that your arrangement with T is stopping you from leaving behind your (in her eyes) sinful ways and meeting someone who'll put you firmly on the path to Holy Matrimony, but it's not her circus and not her monkeys so she doesn't get a say.
