One of my friends used to be with a guy that did this. He sat up talking to girls on-line because it “boosted his self esteem” while she went to bed exhausted after working all day to provide for both of them. She caught him and he convinced her to take him back. Lo and behold he did it again! She left and went on to on-line her best life and has two beautiful kids with a man that deserves her. You’re still so young and shouldn’t be tied to some loser that doesn’t respect you.
Just brainstorming here…I’d just send them this post, or least some version of it. A sort of “history from my perspective.” If you can afford to, move away from them again to drive it all home. Maybe just put up a giant picture of your mom in the entry way or somewhere else really conspicuous like the front door or garage. Or have yard signs with her picture on them so they see it when they drive by the house. Put a giant title under the picture that says “mom”. IDK, I’m kind of a Dick and have very little empathy for shit like this.
