You don’t have a girlfriend, that’s what’s going on.
You must be new here. You're supposed to stalk someone's profile any time there's missing information from someone's post. Nobody is expected to put all the information we need in their post. You have no critical thinking skills.
That’s the thing though, we were talking completely normal prior to all of this. When he did answer, it was still normal.
You should try to find out. If she's young or appears young, I'd be concerned. He could be a threat to the wider community, or teens in the family.
That’s still such a childish response by him though. She clearly didn’t mean anything malicious by it. Part of being an adult is adapting to the unexpected. It says a lot about him how he reacted.
This is not okay. There's ways that could be okay because ultimately choosing someone is practical (holding out for a perfect person or plowing through half the town isn't as great as people pretend it is, that's why they're all single) BUT it should have been followed up with something more loving and reassuring, that there are very good reasons why she's with you not just “you man, me woman, stable life, not alone.” People do creeptastic things like this though. “Settle” for someone they aren't really in love with. Maybe it's good for two people who agree that that's how they both approach long term relationships and marriage, but not if one person feels hurt by it. I can't do it. I'd rather be alone than with some person I find only mildly tolerable because they're the correct gender and pay bills together.
it sounds like he was doing whatever prior to the sex, so its just continuing as status quo
