I think it's 50/50. Clearly she was shameful and recognized how much she fucked up back then that she cut out drinking to make sure it wouldn't happen again. I feel she was distraught at the time for how much she fucked up. She's distraught now, sure because she got caught, but also because she's terrified of the relationship ending and for how hurt her husband is.
