You’re saying long distance isn’t working, but an engagement ring isn’t going to fix that. I’d say wait until he’s done with school and you guys see each other more often to take the next step. You’re both young, there’s no sense in rushing things, especially considering you’ve been together a while and you both have the same intentions for the future.
