I can’t fathom talking to him about being upset about this – the last time I actually vocalized the frustration about this situation was Feb of 2022.
We were out on a hike about 2 hours from where we online and he kept pestering me about “what was wrong” and I was reluctant to answer because we had tried talking about it a month prior. That conversation for him so heated that he told me he had to the urge to hit me but then didn’t.
On this hike, I finally gave in and said I was nervous about talking because of how upset he got the prior time. He hiked ahead of time, basically verbally broke up with me despite being in hysterical tears, and almost let me in the parking lot.
Having any tense conversation with this guy is a challenge for me…he seems to be able to pull it together with everyone else except for me. I see him in much more tense conversations on a weekly basis but I’m the only one that gets the eye rolls/yelling/the break ups/the passive aggression. I don’t understand how to make it stop.
