She pays her bills she doesn’t pay mine and she spends recklessly. I’ve told her multiple times already that we need to figure out day care or a sitter so I can work too again because she’s not helping me with my bills but when I had money I paid all of our bills as a family. We’re currently living her parents and she and her dad is paying for the bills around the house right now.
We had one family car. I paid it. Now since I caught her with another guy. She went and got her own car. Pays her payment. She also got a new phone bill in just her name ( understandable because I broke her phone ) pays her credit card. Spends a lot on money on food and Walmart trips. Tattoos and stuff for her. This may be a stretch (I’m a lot older than you) but one way to help calm things down would be for you both to agree that you won’t have “discussions” over text.
I’m not making any kind of excuses for her – but what exactly does she mean “she believes you don’t care as much as you should”
The only way to settle that is through actual verbal communication aka a talking to each other face to face and making eye contact while you talk.
You can ask her “what exactly do you mean and what do you need from me ?”
You’re not a mind reader, if she’s not specific with her complaints how are you supposed to react ?
If you plan to be together when you’re done your training ….. (however long that is) try to focus on just the next 13 days and leaving for your training on good terms. You can do that as a couple and do what’s right for your baby.
I don't wanna say you're the asshole but you could've just solved your problem with something as simple as: “Hey (friend), good to see you! I'm not feeling so good, so I'm gonna go lay down, but I'll catch you next time!) And that was it. 2 sentences stood between you and this problem. Just apologize to your wife.

And after reading the comments…. holyyyyy, OP you need to dip. I know you feel you love him, but that should not include being willing to stay with the things he is putting you through. How long until he finally cracks and puts his hands on you? Somebody that loves you would not put you through these situations, especially without ever at least attempting to get themselves help.
