I should have probably explained that better. So the club has regular functions that they both attend. He has actually known her for years; families know each other. So now they are in the same club they obviously stop and chat if they run into each other, or go to a club function. Because we have been together 13 years and I’ve never met her, he felt like I should because there is family history there. So he wanted to introduce us, so it wasn’t like all of a sudden some random girl popped up in his life. I
She's dropping not so subtle hints. It's not an accident. She's 30 so she's at that age/stage of life where she's thinking about marriage. Personally, as a woman in my 30's I find it odd that this is how she brings it up.
Do you want marriage? Do you see yourself marrying HER in particular? You need to get real serious about where you see this relationship going because if you're not both on the same page, that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.
'I asked for it. But I didn't mean this.' Then tell him what you did mean and go from there. I think he's not manipulating you, he just doesn't know what you want. You not clearly telling him, and him not asking for clarification shows that therapy would be very helpful. Maybe start alone, and invite him to join after a few sessions?

Love this. Thank you for the comment. Means a lot and makes sense.
