Aside from the left out info (ie: been together 6 yrs/family relationship with boyfriend/is this a sudden change of heart or not, etc), here's something you truly need to think honestly and brutally about. I am not trying to be a killjoy, but these are things folks don't think about when marrying men much older than oneself because they are in love.

Your boyfriend is at the ripe age of health going sideways. Like prostate cancer=no more sex at all if he needs a prostatectomy because he will be unable to get an erection or hold in urine as before. Vascular issues like strokes or heart attacks = possible loss of limb function, instability, speech impediments all requiring care to some degree. Does cancer run in the family? Bowel cancer=possible poop bag, Bladder cancer=possible pee bag, Spinal issues=possible chronic pain/canes/walkers/wheelchair. Does dementia or Alzheimers run in the family=24hr/7day care as they being to loose their memory and abilities to perform simple tasks.

Yes, we are all prone to these issues, however do you see yourself as a nurse maid and instead of a wife? Because that what you become. All those fun adventures & activities you wanted to do, nope.
