  1. The more I think about it the worse this gets. You were with her for 2 years but now that she had a baby, that YOU could have prevented, and now she’s not all you wanted. Her lack in the “pursuit of meaningful income”…is that new? Her weight was going up before but you let it go…another thing you don’t have in common. Why carry on a relationship with someone you seemingly have so little in common with…a question to work through with your therapist. You need to stop painting her as the bad girl who trapped you…you have responsibility in this situation. Handle your business.

  2. u/Scorpioassheaux0, it looks like you're trying to post a throwaway submission. Your account is too young and/or your comment karma is too low.

The right way to do it is to create a brand new Reddit account that begins with ThrowRA.

Please create a new account that starts with ThrowRA in the username and try again. Please note that we will not make exceptions to this rule.

  3. Idk I'd rather find the comfiest looking chair or pile of pillows on the floor than a bathtub but that's just me. Or just sleep in the bed, but reverse directions (like so each person's head is on the opposite side) and have separate blankets. I feel like that might be the optimal comfort while keeping it platonic solution.

  4. Did you marry a complete stranger? Were you not aware of her social media posts prior to the wedding? Or did you think you would have more control of her behavior once you were married? Most people will scroll through maybe 30-50 pics, then lose interest.

  5. If her children are still in foster care bc she was admitted to a mental health facility then you really need to re-evaluate this relationship. I’ve seen this countless times. A patient leaves the hospital, makes questionable decisions, regrets said decisions then blows up everything just to land back in.

It’s not a statement on anyone’s character. It’s a warning to a young man whose heart is in the right place. If she is traumatized enough to lose custody and be admitted that means there are problems with emotional regulation and that can be traumatizing for you. I think you are already starting to experience the emotional roller coaster you will be on until she learns to regulate.

Please be careful and I wish you the best

  6. It's abusive. The sheer amount of comments making excuses for this woman is infuriating. If the roles were reversed, everyone would be telling the woman to start thinking about leaving. This sub can be disgustingly biased.
