I knew a GREAT example of this.
This girl who was a couple years younger than us was dating my best friend in high school's brother and would hang out with us sometime. I am really sorry for the loss of your mother. Unresolved issues makes it even harder. You already know that your boyfriend is taking advantage of you. That's why he started dating an 18 yr old in a vulnerable position. Also he's financially abusing you. A partner should be supportive of you especially dealing with the loss of your mother, even if they don't agree. I would say whatever I had to to get the debit card back. Take at least half the money and have your dearest possessions in your car and go to a trusted relative or friend and grieve your loss in your way.
