Sounds like your wife loves the attention from this poor sap and encourages his advances. That speaks poorly of her character and her respect for you. On any review site or forum, the horror stories always come up. They are interesting and something to talk about. Nobody posts about how everything was fine and a typical boring day. Without incentive for positive sharing, most of the time people don't.
If you go on a car forum you will see thousands of posts of owners asking other owners how to fix this or that. But they might have very reliable cars overall, many of those owners may have never had issues.
All I'm saying is that the negative is usually more prominent than the positive in these spaces. The news will tell everyone about the robbery in town even though more than a million people in the city had an uneventful day. It's just human nature.
