If there is no attraction from either side, the friendship is innocent and shouldn't be a problem.
If something would be okay in a woman/woman friendship, it should also be fine in an innocent woman/man friendship.
An emotionally intimate friendship is NOT inappropriate. A friendshippy hug is NOT inappropriate.
There is nothing wrong with talking about your relationship to a friend. It's healthy to talk to friends. As long as the friend isn't into you and as long as you are not into the friend, there is no harm in that.
If a partner is looking for something that isn't there, that is their problem. You shouldn't have to end an innocent friendship because your partner has jealousy issues.
Also, please NEVER demand that you can read your partner's texts with a friend. Even if your partner obliges, the friend never consented to their texts being read by anyone else than your partner.
For example, if I would be your girlfriend's innocent friend, and I would text her about my mental health, I would do that in confidence. I would not want anyone else than her to read those texts. I never consented to my texts being read by you.
Stop coming up with all these rules and start trusting each other.
If you assume that your partner will cheat without all these rules, you don't trust them.
Just trust your partner. If an innocent friendship makes you jealous, that's a you problem.
