Could it be because he's at the beginning of his career, what with being eight years younger than you, and having an uncomfortable rumor circulating in the office about “sugar baby” and whatever, if you're more successful/making more money than him?
The likeliest outcome is that he's embarrassed by his relationship with you on some level, which is a super shitty thing that needs to be discussed with your partner. What field does he work in? What field do you work in?

Obviously if this is a real “addiction” it's not going to go away just because he wills it to. He'll need actual treatment with either a therapist or an accredited group therapy situation. That said, porn is like animation, it's not real, the images aren't genuine, the behaviors don't mimic real life and it's not something you should feel intimidated by. Be angry with him that he lied of you want to. But it's silly to conflate porn with your own self image. Adult performers don't look or act like that in real life. It's all just for entertainment and isn't meant to be taken that seriously.
