One of my closest friends met her husband when he was 22 and she was 30. They were both students and became friends first which then evolved into a relationship. I'm not trying to invalidate how you feel, but did you guys have a set time he was coming over? Because the way I see it, you're upset because you said you'd spend some of the weekend together, he was coming and let you know what time. There seem to be some communication issues here.
