First off, remove “we” from your vocab on this. You have no dog in this fight. The only person with the right to challenge this is “F”, the long-suffering roommate who's paying for a spot in a two person apartment yet getting stuck with a (presumably nonpaying) permanent house guest. So support “F” in the confrontation they're going to have to have with “D”. Your only role here is to back up whatever “F” has said when/if your “best friend” comes whining to you about her roommate. Also try to stick to the real issue. This guy is taking advantage of your friend. His social media use and whack opinions are irrelevant for the purposes of what needs to happen here.
