When we had to move due to my husband’s job from MI to NoVA, we had to leave the kids behind and only got to see them summer and holidays or whenever we could make the 13 hour drive back home that year before they moved with us. And we were on the hook for all transport costs and had to pay more in CS than when it was 50/50.
