Yeah, it's very likely something. I am exactly this clumsy, but I also have no depth perception. I am constantly running into things, but I do not throw myself at other people (and I let people move around me rather than trying to move around them when necessary) and I'm VERY careful to make sure everyone around me is aware of my depth perception issues so they don't suddenly decide to throw anything at me.
