The religious practices of the Jehovas Witnesses are evil. It is an evil religion. The idea that anyone buys into it is disturbing to me, and the idea that someone could look from the outside in, and be like “Yeah, I'm ok with my kids being around this” is also massively disturbing to me. Idc if your boyfriend is slightly less abusive, controlling, and evil than the majority of JW's, he's a part of a cult that as a whole, would rather a child die than have a blood transfusion.
Never have kids with this man. I know you won't see or read this, but if you for some reason do, I implore you to rethink ever having a family with him. Exposing yourself to JW's fine. Whatever you do you. But don't force innocent children into that cult.
Well whether you should stay or not that'd be solely your decision. If you think you don't want to be with him then leave. Otherwise if you choose to stay you need to voice and enforce your boundaries in this relationship. You are not his punching bag. He shouldn't take his frustrations out on you. This would then turn out a toxic relationship. He should talk to a therapist about his problems and deal it like a grown up. But taking out their frustration on spouse is a cowardice approach.

Total, uneducated guess here: Dude got bullied a lot as a kid. Asked his parents to move schools, they denied him. Maybe mom relented and dad put his foot down. Vowed that if he ever has kids he’ll be in charge of making decisions like that. Childhood bullying is 100% traumatic.
