You decided four months into the relationship that you're poly. Your boyfriend told you that he was not okay with you dating multiple people and that he wanted monogamy. You made the choice to stay with him in a monogamous relationship. Now you have to make another choice.
Either honor your agreement to stay monogamous and stay away from other people OR break up with your boyfriend so that he can find a monogamous partner and you can explore poly relationships.
Any other choice you make would make you a cheater and that is horribly cruel and unfair to your partner.
