I'm mostly just trying to figure out if being upset about it is warranted or not to be honest. If there are obvious indicators that he's doing something on purpose that I'm simply just missing because I'm close to the situation… I'm good with compromise and am more than happy to do it, I just couldn't wrap my head around his logic and was trying to figure out if it was a lame excuse/passive aggressive behavior or if he was really just clueless. If he was clueless then I really need to be compassionate and laugh it off as a mistake, but if it's coming across as passive agressive then we have bigger issues and I need to make myself more approachable so that he feels free to talk to me about how he's feeling rather than doing things like this to “get even”
