Let’s be honest the guy probably isn’t ready to date either. Divorced less than a year ago with small kids. OP is rebound. She is probably insecure for a reason – because she is the rebound.
Forget the ring, she’s a liar and a cheater, look out for yourself. If she waited a month and for you to be gone again, she must be up to something, like the wife knowing as well. I’d come back a day early and move out, if you want to stay you need to make her convince you.
You mentioned that she wouldn’t quit, that’s pretty much tells everything: she wants you to end the relationship. Make sure you expose her to mutual friends.
Youre dating for 6 months and then suddenly you're not dating. Then a few weeks later she tells you she's pregnant.
I'd say to get a paternity test immediately. It's not impossible that she hooked up with someone which made her question the relationship with you, leading to the break. Then finding out she's pregnant and seeing you as the more “stable” possibility as a father.
As for the message itself, I don't really see what you say is a veiled threat but what I do see, and what in my mind adds credence to my theory, is that she calls it “my baby” and not “our baby”, which seems like she doesn't see you as the father.
But no matter what, you should not entertain getting back together with her. If after 6 months of dating she suddenly decides to break things off for trivial reasons, you have zero guarantees it won't happen again just because a child is involved. You could potentially be dealing with that sort of nonsense for years and that's no good for anyone's mental health.
Wow. And how did this relate to my comment in the first place. You can be honest in a non-offensive way. You made it seem like OP would be physically unable to tell his gf the hole story without being offensive. Communication skills much? (Eyeroll to the point of losing both my eyeballs)

Posts must:
include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and
request advice in real situations involving two or more people
We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles use the following formatting:
[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two. Here is an example:
First send the items you overlooked before. Second just block her everywhere. Don't communicate at all.

Something is fishy here.

None of the things you just listed warrant what she did.
I'll wait for the next post lmfao
He may be cheating and is projecting it onto you
It's stuff like this where if a man does it they're creeps, stalkers, weirdos, etc etc. When a woman does it it's cute and adorable.
This is why I agree with this
Take this secret to your grave
That’s a good point. Thank you for that perspective
