Like speaks her mind and just talk casually using a lot of swear words.
I don't know what to say to them and I have never been in this position. How should I address to them that I want to stay with her despite their feelings? And also how do I deal with her not being invited to events where I am?

No, I personally think “mutual abuse” is bullshit. Abuse is only abuse if it is a long term pattern of behavior. People are allowed to be upset and make mistakes, even a few times. But once it becomes patterned behavior over a length of time, without change, it is abuse.
My family is abusive towards me. If I one day snap and scream at all of them and call them nasty names and tell them specific things I know will hurt their feelings, I am just acting in a way that is me trying to defend myself. Is it the right way to do that? No, but is it just as bad as them abusing me for my whole life? Absolutely not.
Honestly, I am. I guess I’m worrying to this extent because all the things I’ve brought up, he’s doesn’t see. He’s a really good guy but I felt invalidated when we did a postmortem on this.
And I do have to mention that at the end of the call he said to her, “it was good catching up. If you ever need anything, please don’t be a stranger.” Which of course left the door a little open. I know he’s trying to be nice and helpful but that open door is a chance for the other person to misconstrue well meaning intentions.
I told him he shouldn’t have said that but he reasoned he felt an obligation to lend out a hand to her if she ever needed it.

Yeah that was a needle scratch for me too….it definitely is not a good solution.
Why assuming zero chance of cheating when you both went away separately
I'd genuinely ask him why he didn't get you a birthday gift
Yes, but I knew them beforehand.
